Arrowhead Transit is the public bus system set up to meet your personal transportation needs. Our Dial-A-Ride service brings the bus right to your front door and drops you off right where you need to go. Unlike big city transit drivers, our drivers are not only allowed to get out of their seats, part of their job description is to assist any passenger that needs any type of help: whether it is an arm to hold onto; or strapping a child into the child restraints built into the bus seats; or using the lift and the tie downs for someone using a wheelchair.

The new starting pay for part-time bus drivers for Arrowhead Transit is $13.86/hour. For casual, substitute and seasonal drivers the new rate of pay is $13.59. Arrowhead Transit is always looking for casual bus drivers in all eight of our counties. All jobs require a CDL with a passenger endorsement. If your application is accepted, Arrowhead Transit will provide and pay for the training you need to obtain your professional commercial driver¹s license (CDL). You must be 21 years old.
