The Kindred School district serves the communities of Davenport, Hickson, Kindred, Leonard, Oxbow and Walcott. The new Kindred High School opened the fall of 2012 serving grades 7-12. The elementary school houses K-6 classes which boast a low 17.3 to 1 student/teacher ratio. The school is a proud class B school with an active sports program.

Kindred is located 20 miles southwest of Fargo. We enjoy the 
quiet, small-town atmosphere where you get a wave "hello" from every passing car, but are close enough to big city conveniences.
