What is the current company culture like? Our company culture is very service oriented because that's what we do. We care about seeing children succeed and our company goes out of it's way to make sure you have the tools and team behind you to succeed in your role.

What skills, education, and experiences does your ideal candidate(s) have? Great tutors come from all walks of life. Whether you are 18 or 85, the most important qualification is a desire to help children succeed. That said, you also need to meet the following minimum qualifications by the time you begin your service.



Are dependable and have a history of good attendance
Able to understand and follow instructions
Can set a pace and maintain a schedule with students
Have basic computer skills (like email and navigating online systems)
Can speak, read, and write English fluently
18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent
A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident alien of the United States*
Have served three or fewer terms with AmeriCorps State or National Program
Agree to and successfully complete a background check

How would you describe the company leadership/team management? Our company has an incredible leadership team that very much is invested in our tutors and the impact they have on children's lives.
