What skills, education, and experience does your ideal candidate(s) have?
Security Counselor Minimum Qualifications:
• Possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Demonstrated writing skills including writing legible notes.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read and write English sufficient to understand and follow directions and to maintain
records and documentation.
Licensed Practical Nurse Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from an approved school of nursing
Current licensure in Minnesota as a Practical Nurse
HIMS Specialist Minimum Qualifications
Customer Services skill sufficient to provide courteous, prompt and
effective services in person, on the phone or via email
Data Entry skills sufficient to locate, update, and retrieve health information from a variety of databases
Database Management skills sufficient to complete data entry and navigate systems
English language skills sufficient to read, write, and understand with proficiency in spelling, grammar, and punctuation used in medical/treatment records
Physical demands include standing, sitting, lifting, and stooping to file paper documents in charts or box storage
Typing/Keyboarding skills sufficient to complete a variety of reports, letters, forms, and data summaries
Word processing skills sufficient to develop, format, and modify a variety of correspondence, records, reports and forms.

The Minnesota Sex Offender Program serves people who are court ordered to receive sex offender treatment via the civil commitment process. Program staff provide comprehensive services including therapy, education programming, therapeutic recreation, vocational programming and volunteer
services, health and wellness to clients in a therapeutic environment where safety and security are at the forefront of all campus activities.
