Starting back in 1948 with a single driveway chip sealing machine, Cyril L. Stodolka and Del Surma grew a two-person operation into more than 150 employees today. Over the years they added bituminous, concrete, and numerous other capabilities.

By consistently providing a quality product at a competitive price and having a knowledge base that is industry Leading, Tri-City has grown throughout the years from its origins, including operating under the names C.L. Stodolka Construction, Falls Paving, and Tri-City Paving, Inc.

Tri-City’s quality products and superior customer service has led to many award-winning projects, from the 1969 award for our involvement in Operation Foresight with the Army Corp of Engineers, to our 2010 award for best concrete runway at the Brainerd Lakes Regional Airport, to our 2011 best in class award for Morrison County Road #17, we pride ourselves in delivering top quality results that will last for years.
