Job Summary

The Business Process Innovation Partner is responsible for developing Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives to improve overall business efficiencies with measurable performance metrics. This would include diagramming the flow of a business process, identifying opportunities for improvement and supporting the project plan for successful implementation and measurement of process gains.

 

Essential Functions
  • Leads process improvement initiatives including process experimentation, design, optimization and process control, supports process definition and documentation to reduce waste and achieve measurable efficiencies.
  • Analyzes and promotes business enhancement efforts with the goal of creating a positive impact on the customer experience and geared towards creating efficiencies. Participates with the coordination, innovation and implementation of these efforts. Looks for areas of improvement and proposes process improvement initiatives. Works with cross-functional teams to continuously strive for excellence and set an example for the rest of the company.
  • Designs an efficient and effective system of reporting progress and evaluation results. Seeks information to understand problems, expectations and needs of customers in assigned areas. Provides resolution-based information when identifying problems and recommending solutions. Communicates expectations and aspirations to groups. Supports leadership and staff by planning, preparing, organizing and managing information and material(s).
  • Evaluates and determines customer needs, uses innovation to meet needs and focuses on relationship building and networking to ensure customer service delivery is in line with customer expectations. Demonstrates a combination of listening, communication, problem solving and facilitation skills to thoroughly understand and diagnose customer issues.
  • Ensures key metric reports are developed and implemented in a timely manner, supported by high-quality data to meet business needs. Drives analytic practices to actionable insights and translates analytic findings to a non-analytic audience.
  • Executes and drives strategies and processes that help ensure alignment with the organization's needs, development plans and business outcomes.

Education Requirements

Required: Bachelor's

Preferred: Bachelor's

Field(s) of Study: Industrial Engineering. Business, Healthcare or related field

 

Experience Requirements

Required: Minimum of 5 Years

Preferred: Minimum of 5 Years

Experience Details: Minimum of 5 years of continuous improvement, process development, change management, project management or related experience is required.  Lean Six Sigma experience preferred.

 

Certification, Licensures & Registration Requirements

State or Agency: N/A

 

Equivalent combination of education, experience or training determined to be acceptable by Human Resources may be substituted, unless regulated by contract or program standards
