Job Summary

The Senior HR Business Partner is responsible for providing hands-on organizational support to develop, implement and drive results in building the future of the organization. This role is accountable for supporting enterprise-wide change initiatives through increasing workforce capability, building out organizational design and structure, providing change leadership, talent management/succession planning and supporting on-going process improvements. This position relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, perform management coaching, organizational assessments and provide strong project management to various HR initiatives & company-wide HR projects.

Essential Functions
  • Partners with senior leadership to develop and implement HR solutions to achieve strategic business initiatives.
  • Assumes a leadership role in enabling the organization to identify the need for change and effectively implementing change management strategies.
  • Consults with leaders on human capital related matters, which may include culture, organizational effectiveness and design, workforce planning, succession planning and skills assessments to maximize employee engagement.
  • Identifies leadership development needs, provides coaching and contributes to solutions to improve the capability of leaders, to lead and manage their employees and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Partners with leaders to retain, develop and motivate people to achieve their fullest potential.
  • Helps leaders to assess, create and implement innovative solutions for a variety of employee engagement initiatives.
  • Provides ongoing support to multiple leadership teams on HR related matters, policies and procedures.
  • Executes salary planning, job creation, promotion and job re-leveling activities.
  • Drives cultural transformation through strong communication, influence and strategic thinking.

Education Requirements

Required: Bachelor's

Preferred: Master's

Field(s) of Study: Human Resources, Business, Communications or related field

Experience Requirements

Required: Minimum of 5 Years

Preferred: Minimum of 8 Years

Experience Details: Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible human resources related experience is required; candidate must demonstrate success in providing consulting support to, collaborating with and influencing stakeholders.

Certification, Licensures & Registration Requirements

Title: PHR or SHRM-CP is required

State or Agency: HR Certification Institute or SHRM

Equivalent combination of education, experience or training determined to be acceptable by Human Resources may be substituted, unless regulated by contract or program standards
