Technical Project Manager

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to make change and drive deliverables for one of the nation's largest fortune 500 healthcare companies. In this role, the candidate will work with several internal teams to facilitate communication and consistency across projects. This person will support both Network and Security projects. This will involve working with the Network Support and Security teams to install and maintain computer networks and provide training. Additionally, this person will ensure the identification and solutioning of risks and complications for each project. The ideal candidate will have extensive network and security experience with a strong desire to be an impactful member of a larger enterprise organization.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field
  • Well-versed within Infrastructure Project Management
  • Deep knowledge of Network Systems and Security Protocols
  • Experience working in an enterprise environment
  • Remote access experience (Citrix preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong facilitation, negotiation and presentation skills, adapting approach as needed
  • Agile experience
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Serve as point of contact for internal team members
  • Develops and maintains project/program-release-phase milestone schedule, project plans
  • Manage project/program scope and administer change management
  • Manage project/program budget including acquiring estimates, monitoring actuals, developing forecasts, and communication thereof (formal and informal)
  • Creates weekly status reports, facilitates status meetings and communications with business and IT stakeholders
  • Escalates business issues to the Business and IT Leaders
  • Coordinates and facilitates weekly progress meetings, design sessions, requirements reviews, etc. for a specific project
  • Compliance with corporate expectations for Project Management Standards, Policy
  • Issue/risk Management: Identifies, facilitates, & drives resolution of project issues and risks
  • Works with applications to ensure appropriate resources can perform time-entry
  • Ability to communicate effectively with multiple levels of leadership
  • Ability to organize information from different sources and complete the picture
  • Ability to solve problems and drive towards solutions
  • Ability to negotiate with multiple teams
  • Ability to communicate with development teams as well as executive leadership effortlessly
