Sr. Project Manager

Genesis10, is seeking a Sr. Project Manager for a contract position with our client in Minnetonka, MN.

Summary/Responsibilities:

• Sr. Project Manager working at the Executive and Senior Leadership levels to support and lead program to separate new company from parent company and stand up business critical operations & technology.
• Work in close partnership with the Program Manager; must be comfortable completed tasks delegated and asking questions as needed.
• Willing to roll up sleeves and be part of a team that needs all hands on deck to work through the transition of standing up a new organization.
• Navigate through the ambiguity and be able to take on tasks as required for the program to continue moving forward.
• Key projects to lead and/or support may include a new reservation management system and standing up a new Support Operations group for global hotel chain.
• Initial priorities will be leading the RFP to select a vendor that will own Support Operations (ticket management, end user support - ServiceNow, ITSM).
• Interface directly with executive leadership on project pipeline, status, budget, resources, etc.
• Be able to lead future projects like system migration/pilot project with more direct, Sr. Project Management responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education & work experience
• 7-10 years of IT Project Management experience in a global or matrixed organization
• PMP or other Project Management certifications - a plus
• RFP experience of major IT vendors
• Experience leading IT Service Management and/or ServiceNow projects
• Ability to work in ambiguous, changing environments
• Comfortable working some days at a Sr. PM level and some days completing very administrative, tactical PM tasks
• Strong leadership skills and executive presence
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills
• Hospitality or Travel industry experience - nice to have
• Valid passport if international travel is required
