Stevens County is currently recruiting for a Deputy Sheriff/Criminal Investigator who will serve the public in the investigation of crimes and the detection and/or prevention of Federal, State and local laws. The primary function of the position is to investigate crimes of a more detailed and in-depth nature than the normal calls for service.
High school diploma and a two-year degree from an accredited college in law enforcement/criminal justice or other related field is required.?An undergraduate degree or graduate degree preferred. Five-years' experience as a full-time law enforcement officer is required. Must be certified in all POST mandated training.
Wage Range is $25.47 - $34.24, depending upon qualifications.
