Representative Responsibilities:
??? Oversees the process to repair customer and internal ETC products and ensures they are completed on schedule to the customers satisfaction.
??? Maintain continued improvement of RMA return and outbound processing.
??? Prepare and provide monthly tracking metrics for repair volumes and turn-around-times.
??? Supports Technical Services as it relates to equipment repair and loaner program.
??? Offers possible solutions to Technical Services for problems occurring at customer sites ensuring they are useful and based on experience and product knowledge.
??? One type of each loaner is stocked in the Repair area and ready to ship.
??? Addresses questions from Technical Services personnel within one working day.
??? Provide leadership for the establishment of Flat Rate repair prices for a wide range of product repairs.
??? Prioritize and drive the creation and use of Knowledge Management System articles
??? Oversees the maintenance and tests of parts and assemblies.
??? Ensures PCB boards tested in Repair Department have no repeat failures.
??? Ensures untested PCB boards are not used.
??? Stocks shelves adequately at all times.
??? Orders parts when quantity hits re-order point.
??? Provide input to manufacturing on the need for lifetime buys for support.
??? Work to identify and proactively address spare parts that are no longer available for use.
??? Maintain quality control.
??? Assign and monitor team members participation in product quality meetings.
??? Ensure staff is performing work to the highest level of quality.
??? Help with repair support and training for foreign offices as needed.
??? Other duties as assigned.
??? Special projects and requests are completed in a timely and positive fashion.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
??? Coordinates and collaborates with other departments of the company in establishing and carrying out responsibilities.
??? Develop and maintain positive communication between department and other departments.
??? Performs the hiring, orientation, training, performance management, career development, and overall employee development of department personnel.
??? Formulates, implements & reviews ISO procedures related to the department.
??? Instructs employees about procedures and work instructions.
??? Informs employees as to company/departmental plans and progress.
??? Maintains reporting on all department activities.
??? Continue to monitor efficiency in the department and make improvements where appropriate.

Minimum Qualifications:
??? Bachelors degree or 8 years equivalent experience in increasingly responsible positions in repair or manufacturing product technician, electronics technician, or rework technician.
??? Or 2 year degree/certificate and 4 years equivalent experience in increasingly responsible positions in repair or manufacturing: product technician, electronics technician, rework technician, etc.
??? 2-4 years of ETC product experience or similar equivalent experience.
??? General working knowledge of SAP is desirable.
??? Knowledge of production and quality procedures
??? Able to read prints and schematics
??? Able to use hand tools, small power tools, and test equipment
??? Problem solving and creative thinking skills

??? Able to work independently
