Position Description:
Primarily this position will assist in planning, promoting and hosting programming for The Nice Center. The program manager will lead events and identify opportunities for curricular and co-curricular activity that will measurably increase the participation and depth of entrepreneurial activity on campus. This position is responsible for tasks such as leading the Nice Productions team, hosting entrepreneurial boot camps, speaking at campus and community events, leading student entrepreneurship teams, planning events supporting women's entrepreneurship week and more. This position will also provide communication and administrative support essential to the operation of The Center, including internal and external communication and grant writing. Additionally, this position will provide assistance in the classroom, both teaching courses and coordinating online courses and assignments.

Duties/Tasks include:
*Programming: Plan, execute and measure co-curricular events at NDSU and in the community
-Create initiatives that fit the strategic vision of The Nice Center
-Plan details including coordinating speakers, mentors, media, food, etc.
-Measure the success of co-curricular activities and plan future events based on participation and depth of impact.
-Market events to students, faculty, community members and the media.
-Work with the Director to provide administrative support for existing events and co-curricular efforts.
-Build relationships with external partners for funding, collaboration, and impact.

*Administrative support and grant writing.
-Assist the Director with recruiting, hiring and selecting students for student worker positions, scholarships and Center grants.
-Manage logistics for events including paying expenses, booking travel, communicating with participants and integrating events into the existing website and marketing materials.
-Find and assist in writing grant applications to fund future co-curricular events.
-Manage written relationships with other entrepreneurial centers in the Midwest through the Ecosystem Centers conference and regular webinars and meetups.

*Curricular support for online courses.
-Grade papers and follow-up with online students to verify participation and completion of events.
-Coordinate videos and new materials to be added to courses.
-Bring expertise into existing courses and identify community experts who can deepen the curriculum for entrepreneurship students.
-Submit grades and manage any extra credit, absence requests, or other administrative tasks related to courses.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (any field of study considered)
- Experience hosting and planning events, especially entrepreneurial events
- Grant writing experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Supervisory experience
- Proven experience in problem solving
- Attention to detail
- Organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Customer service oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize duties and respond promptly to technical requests or ability to independently research and compile data
