Position Summary:

The University of Wisconsin-Platteville Department of Athletics, and NCAA Division III member of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC), is seeking qualified applicants for immediate hire for an Athletic Training Internship position. This is an up to 3 year renewable 9-month appointment with a start date of mid-August. Compensation includes a $18,000 stipend and health benefits. Responsibilities:

The selected candidates will be responsible for assisting the Sports Medicine staff in the areas of practice and game coverage of assigned teams, rehabilitation, injury prevention and care, and assisting the Sports Medicine staff in all phases of student-athlete and student-first aider mentoring and evaluation, and other administrative duties as assigned. What You'll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:

A Masters Degree from a CAATE accredited program.

Certified by the NATABOC.

Must be licensed in the State of Wisconsin (or eligible to obtain licensure).

Current CPR/AED certification is required.

Valid U.S. driver's License.
