SUMMARY OF POSITION:Highly motivated, self-starter with strong communication skills. An understanding of eCommerce and the building materials industry. Regular travel required in the Midwest region (Minnesota and Michigan). ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for collaborating with cross-functional partners to manage all aspects of the eCommerce platform including business planning, content strategy, development and implementationDrive customer engagement through targeted communicationsDevelop strategies to increase traffic to the website, such as utilizing social media channels, search engine optimization and bloggingCreate metrics and reports on the status and progress of the eCommerce platformManage the retailing of offers across the web platforms, driving exclusive offers where appropriateManage the quality of content published including brand, tone of voice, grammar and imageryMaster the content management system and support the publishing of quality content with good speed to marketHelp to ensure the customer experience and brand are upheld in any content and customer experience deliverablesLiaise with appropriate parties on a regular basis regarding website technical developments and updatesSolicit feedback via surveys, email, phone, etc. from customers on products and online experienceProvide customer feedback to the Vice President(s), Sales Manager(s) and/or Branch Manager(s) for appropriate follow-up actionContinually develop product knowledge and monitor product changes in the building materials industryStay abreast of new and changing best practices within the eCommerce arena and apply new practices as requiredEnsure all eCommerce privacy policies, terms and conditions and/or other compliance requirements are met QUALIFICATIONS:Education/Licensing/Experience Requirements:High School diploma/GED required4-year degree in Business, Marketing, eCommerce or related field preferredThree (3) to five (5) years of eCommerce experience requiredBuilding materials industry sales experience preferredOther Competencies:Self-driven, ability to self-manage and show initiativeSuperior time-management and organization skillsAbility to deliver excellent customer serviceReceptivity to coaching as a form of growth and development COMPANY BENEFITS:Medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance401k retirement planPaid holidays and vacation days Launch your career with a national building materials distributor and discover opportunities for growth and advancement.
