Then look no further ??? we have the #dreamjob for you!Doherty Career Solutions has partnered with a leading construction company focused solely on renewable energy projects in their search for a Warehouse Manager to oversee the storage and distribution of construction tools and materials. This employer offers a competitive salary based on experience along with a comprehensive benefits package.Job Summary: Plans, organizes and monitors the receiving, storage and distribution of all items received either from suppliers or production shops. Ensures a smooth and consistent operation so parts and supplies are located and distributed to jobsites in an effective and efficient manner as needed to satisfy customer requirements.Warehouse Manager Job Functions Prepares the forecasting for the warehouse and is responsible for accurate management of the warehouse budget. Works closely with IT in the selection and development of inventory management systems. Develops the warehouse team processes that support operations to ensure projects have the correct equipment, tools needed and delivered on time. Maintains and develops metrics and analyzes data to assess performance and implement processes. Participates in quarterly planning sessions to educate on market constraints, equipment trends, technology advancements, process improvement opportunities and failure points that need to be incorporated into the forecast. Work closely with vendors negotiating equipment and tool purchases, service support, sales and projections. Provides leadership of staff by mentoring, motivating and ensuring developmental opportunities, coaching and feedback are provided.Warehouse Manager Essential Qualifications A four-year degree in supply chain, industrial, or business management, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 5-8 years of experience in warehouse management. Working knowledge of shipping and receiving and inventory activities. Knowledge of bar code technology and electronic data interchange. Thorough knowledge of construction tools and materials. Excellent organizational and recordkeeping skills with advanced accounting, financial management, and computer skills. Strong leadership and collaboration skills with a focus on performance management. Must be able to maintain valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
