Our dedication, responsiveness and integrity are why thousands of communities across the U.S. and Canada choose FirstService Residential to manage their properties.Job ResponsibilitiesThe Low Voltage Technician is responsible for the installation and maintenance of low voltage cabling and systems, programming and testing of CCTV, tele-entry, and access control systems.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe job duties listed are typical examples of the work performed in this position.Installation, programming and service of IP security camera systems and video management software.Installation, programming and service of audio and video door entry systems.Installation, programming and service of access control systems.Operation of cable testing and diagnostics equipment to ensure proper system performance.Install, test certify and troubleshoot Local Area Network (LAN) Cabling Systems.Provide Testing, Analysis and Repair of Video, Voice and Data Systems (i.e., Electronic Devices such as Gateways, Routers, Hubs, NIC Cards, Telephone Switches, etc.).Meet all installation and service deadlines.Responsible for accurate tracking on time sheets, service/installation tickets and inventory items.Full compliance with company's and customer's safety program.Other duties as required or assigned.Additional Duties & ResponsibilitiesPractice and adhere to FirstService Residential values: Be Genuinely Helpful, Aim High, Do What's Right, Own It, Improve It, and Build Great RelationshipsConduct business at all times with the highest standards of personal, professional and ethical conductPerform or assist with any operations as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules.
