Job Description
An Operations Sales Manager is responsible for the following duties:
  • Give daily direction to our inside sales personal and improve processes for work efficiency
  • Manage daily production needs relating to sales for all Superior Equipment manufacturing locations
  • Interface with the outside sales force quotes and daily tasks
  • Build and maintain good customer relations
  • Create teams which assist outside territory managers with quotes and information
  • Knowledge and understanding of the mechanics of: selling, prospecting, qualifying buyers, presentation, follow up on quotes, overcoming objection and closing.
  • Ability to make a knowledgeable presentation of our product lines, including specifications and pricing information.
  • Review sales CRM activity frequently for timeliness of quoting activity
  • Manage annual price-book creation and distribution
  • Participate in new dealer or distributor initiation and training
  • Oversee costing for products
  • Monitor and report gross margins
  • Ensure pricing is updated to reflect our current products and purchase prices
  • Manage and develop costing methods for estimators relating to non-published product upgrades
  • Communicate customer feedback to benefit other aspects of our operation
  • Research and Development tasks as needed
Qualifications
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred
  • Build, and maintain a cohesive and positive team
  • Communicate effectively both written and verbally
  • Industry and product application experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps, CRM, and ERP software packages
