Job Description

This position is responsible for providing guidance, support and coordination in the consistent and effective application of policies, procedures and practices within the Human Resources (HR) department. In addition, the position plays an integral role in facilitating information flow, ensuring that details are managed effectively and efficiently. It provides support and ownership to a variety of responsibilities and projects, with an emphasis on Recruitment and Benefits support.

Responsibilities:
- Recruit, interview, hire and coordinate hiring process guiding management in interviewing, hiring, promotions and performance reviews.
- Provide HR support and coordination including facilitating new employee orientation and onboarding sessions, and processing applicable HR forms.
- Coordinate organization-wide all employee meetings, including assisting with agenda creation, developing slides and handouts, and communicating with employees. Organize and facilitate company special events, coordinate fundraising or charity-focused events for company employee participation.
- Participate on workgroups and facilitate communication between and among departments and work groups as needed.
- Ensure employment law, benefits, and wellness information is posted and updated regularly and in compliance.
- Work with Senior Benefits Specialist to assist with processing benefits paperwork/leaves of absence and coordinating flu clinics and other wellness related events.
- Assist with special projects and tasks as needed.
- Assist with AA/EEO reporting and planning.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Skills:
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of customer service and human resources.
- Experience with Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
- Proven organization and prioritization skills.
- Ability to manage projects.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships and provide outstanding customer service internally and externally.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to evaluate processes and procedures for continuous process improvement.
- Ability to adapt to and work effectively in a fast paced and changing environment with multiple priorities.
- Intermediate word processing, spreadsheets and computer software skills.

Bachelors

Experience:
0-1 years

Qualifications:
- Associates degree and two years of Human Resources experience or a combination of equivalent education and/or experience required

Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree and experience with ADP, GoToTraining/Meeting and SharePoint.
- Experience with Benefits Coordination and Recruiting.
