SUMMARY: To prepare and serve alcohol to guests consistently. Responsible for a high level of guest service as described in your departments guest service standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Formulate beverages according to established recipes
Serve guests in compliance with TIPS and guest service standards
Ring up transactions and make the correct change
Requisition work station supplies to maintain pars and monitor quality of product
Initiate and establish superior guest service including drink recommendations and informing of specials
Utilize and implement TIPS training to prevent and recognize alcohol-related concerns
Set up and close work stations in compliance with established procedures
KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge and Certification
Required:
6 months bartending experience
Preferred:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
Successful completion of and certification from Bartending School
1-year cash handling, bank reconciliation experience and point-of-sales system experience
Skills
Required:
Accurate and detail-oriented
Strong organization skills
Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Excellent problem solving skills
Abilities
Required:
Ability to work fast and efficiently
Ability to follow established dress code policies and practice good personal hygiene
Ability to interact with guests, coworkers and management in a professional and courteous manner
Ability to speak in a clear, concise and pleasant voice
