SUMMARY: To ensure a pleasant guest experience. Responsible for a high level of guest service as described in your departments guest service standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Offer an appropriate arrival and departure comment to guests
* Handle cash and non-cash transactions including tracking credit card tip and depositing monies into Vault
* Offer event and promotional information when asked
* Maintain guest traffic by seating guests at a pace guests can walk
* Clean and stock wait stations by taking and returning carts to and from the dish room, emptying garbage cans, and filling milk machines, pop boxes, and similar
* Complete assigned cleaning duties
* Inform supervisor of business flow

KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Knowledge and Certification

Preferred:

* High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
* 1-year guest service experience preferably in the fast-paced restaurant

Skills

Required:

* Accurate and detail-oriented
* Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
* Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
* Above average math skills

Abilities

Required:

* Ability to work fast and efficiently
* Ability to follow established dress code policies and practice good personal hygiene
* Ability to interact with guests, coworkers and management in a professional and courteous manner
* Ability to speak in a clear, concise and pleasant voice
