WOW Logistics is seeking an EHS Manager to lead the company's Food, Product, and Personnel Safety Programs. The EHS Manager will develop, enforce, and train on all safety related policies and procedures. This position will require flexible hours and frequent travel to each distribution center for audits, meetings, and training. This position will also be a backup to the MHE Trainer and will train new employees on MHE equipment.ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance with regulated policies and procedures (FSMA, FDA, USDA, OSHA)Manage the Food Product Safety ProgramLead member of the Food Product Safety Team to include HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) program development and updatesDevelop standard operating procedures (SOPs)Implement and train on SOPsMaintain accuracy of recordsComplete inspections and audits to verify ongoing compliance with Food Product Safety Procedures and company SOPsLeads and facilitates 3rd party auditsParticipates in the investigation of accidents/injuries and in the preparation of necessary reports/documentsResponsible for instituting proactive measures to identify hazards and regulatory non-complianceDevelop, execute, and present training programs for monthly safety meetingsPresent to Operations Management team monthly on safety issues and processes changesSet annual company safety goals and report at quarterly 'all hands' meetingsDevelop and maintain written plans for OSHA required areasWork closely with Human Resources on worker's compensation and return to work programsMaintain OSHA logsAnnual Tier II reportingQualificationsBachelor's degree in Safety related field, or equivalent work experienceMinimum 5 years of experience working in food safetyProven experience in developing, training, and executing a Personnel and Product Safety program, which includes previous HACCP trainingExtensive FSMA and OSHA regulation knowledgeProficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Good communication skills with experience in conducting training sessionsSelf-starterAbility to travel approximately 50% of the time to/from any of our locations in WI, and IDApply online at partner with WOW Logistics to tackle some of their toughest supply chain challenges.
