Doherty Career Solutions has partnered with a precision machining and complex manufacturing company in their search for a 1st shift Quality Inspector to join their growing machining center. This role maintains quality standards by inspecting and approving incoming materials and finished products according to company standards and customer specification. Flexible daytime schedule with the option to work 5-8's or 4-10's. Hourly pay of $20-$28 per hour based on experience.Quality Inspector Specific Responsibilities Responsible for performing first article, in-process and final inspections on a variety of parts and assemblies Maintain calibration programs that monitor and control production and QC gauges Approve or reject raw materials based on quality standards and record supplier performance. Use appropriate measuring equipment to perform complex testing requirements with close tolerances and specifications. Coordinating the inspection planning of a job with the ability to confer with vendors and others regarding inspection results preparing CAR's, PAR's and SCAR's as needed. Select output samples and check them using appropriate methods (measuring dimensions, parallelism, flatness and functionality, compared to specifications etc.) Maintain reports/records of testing, information and documentation needed by our customers. Prepare and submit reports as required, including documentation of plotting inspecting dataQuality Inspector Essential Requirements Associates Degree with at least 5 years of related experience preferred Thorough knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies Working knowledge of MS Office with strong documentation skills Possess an understanding of ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100 requirements.
