Enjoy weekday schedule complimented by a competitive salary based on experience and skillset.Estimator Job Responsibilities Service primary contacts including; general contractor, architect or owner Provide clerical oversight and project management on residential/commercial cabinetry and millwork projects Supply information for projects such as; measurements, selections, drawings, dates and addresses Estimate projects effectively and to proactively follow-up with sub-contractors to make sure that bids have been received Evaluate bid specifications and drawings while ensuring what is required to successfully bid and win projects Relentlessly research new projects using online invites or contractor opportunities Compute costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements coinciding with discrepancies from previous jobs Manage submittals and shop drawings to ensure profitability and accuracy Work with management and supervisors to collectively produce profitable cabinetry Follow up with management on profit margins to ensure estimating is accurate and company is profitable Use good judgment with reputable contractors/clients when submitting estimatesEstimator Essential Qualifications High School Diploma/GED Equivalent 3+ Years Project Managing, Estimating and Sales Experience preferred Working knowledge of wood materials and wood working technology Previous experience estimating within a manufacturing environment is helpful Excellent computer skills; including Microsoft Office, especially Excel Ability to read blueprints and schematics Detail oriented with strong oral and written communication Project a positive and professional image to employees, vendors, and customers Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships is essentialWorking with Doherty Career SolutionsPlacing great people into work opportunities is our mission, and it's been a life-changing one for our candidates for over 35 years!
