In a collaborative and results oriented team environment, the Total Rewards Coordinator must be a superstar at implementing and administering group benefit/compensation programs, ensuring the College is in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This role is extremely important as it will be an integral partner in continuing to evolve a total rewards strategy that enhances employee engagement. Additionally, this position works directly with the Human Resources Director in developing, implementing and evaluating HR policies, programs, functions, and activities, with a focus that is strategic and innovative. Highlights of responsibilities include:
• Passionate support for the mission and vision of Concordia College.
• Engaged coordination and administration of employee salary and benefit programs.
• Providing comprehensive benefit information and counseling to employees and supervisors to support informed decision making.
• Prepare and execute benefit documentation such as original and amended plan texts, benefit agreements and insurance policies.
• Manage and administer FMLA and other leave programs.
• Serves as Wellness Team co-leader and Retirement Plan Oversight Committee member.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field, plus three years related experience or equivalent education and experience.
• Passionate about people and proven success in providing “best-in-class” service to constituents.
• Savvy technological skills to include Microsoft Office Suite and related programs.
• Ability to learn and apply technology in a quick manner, to streamline routine work and enhance the value of the end user experience.
• Avid seeker of knowledge and information.
• Innovative.
• Ability to communicate in writing, one-or-one or in group settings in a manner that instills trust and confidence.
