Job Title: Career Development Consultant | GSS - HR LEAD | Multi-City

Job Schedule: Full Time

Shift: Varies

Hours Per Shift: 8 hr

JOB SUMMARY

The Career Development Consultant works closely with employees, students, and academic partners for the coordination of workforce pipeline initiatives at Sanford Health. Supports programming related, but not limited to: student placement, tuition assistance, scholarships, internships, K-12 initiatives, and career planning. Interacts with students to help support their career goals and supports employees with their career advancement goals. Establishes strong collaborations with leadership. Possesses excellent leadership, planning, innovation, and organizational skills. Acts as a liaison between Sanford Health and associated academic partners. Supports the strategic workforce initiatives.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Develops strategic relationships with campus placement or academic offices. Describes career development concepts. Demonstrates experience engendering collaborative processes that lead to problem solving and the achievement of business goals. Demonstrates an ability to meet own responsibilities. Assesses students for internships and regular positions within the organization. Adjusts systems for tracking and recording university student information according to updated operational needs. Researches techniques for a sufficient and superior workforce within the organization. Plan and promote career and employment-related programs and events, such as career planning presentations, work experience programs, job fairs, and career workshops. Maintains a sense of urgency and a positive attitude. Explores own motivation and initiative and how it relates to the workplace.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree is required; healthcare or administrative focus is preferred.

Experience in program management is preferred.
