POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direction of the General Manager/Executive Officer. Responsible for the overall operation of the Marketing Department to include all; advertising campaigns, print ad campaigns, on-line campaigns, radio and television market campaigns, direct-mail, entertainment, community events, player relations, database management, transportation and public relations.  Establish measurable marketing objectives and strategies to ensure maximum share of the market and profitability of services. Direct all of the efforts of the Marketing Department to ensure achievement of department goals, and a well presented Shooting Star Casino brand in the marketplace.   Develops and manages the execution of a cohesive and comprehensive marketing plan that has a theme, product, position and professional image while focused on guest profitability.  In all interactions, the position is responsible for making STAR service to guests and fellow team members a first priority.

Minimum Requirements

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree from four years college or university is preferred, with a minimum of four years related gaming and marketing experience.  Seven years of gaming experience with marketing expertise, with documentation of a marketing work history that demonstrates increased levels of responsibility over a period of time, may be accepted.

Certificates, Licenses & Designations

Must meet licensing requirements as prescribed by the Tribal State Compact for Gaming.

  • *Shift differential of additional $1.25/hr for swing and night shift and an additional weekend differential of $1.25/hr. Requirements based on position. Available for hours worked after a team member completes their 90-day probationary time frame.
