Packaging Machine Design Engineer

We are in need of an experienced Packaging Machine Design Engineer for a full time, permanent career opportunity at a company that sets the industry quality standard.? ?All products are engineered and built solely in the United States.??The engineers are known for being both highly skilled and innovative in product designs.? The successful candidate's duties and responsibilities will encompass:

• Designing new, complex packaging machines
• Directing designers as well as?contractors
• Ensuring projects are completed on time and in budget
• Creating new product features
• Monitoring competitive products
• Leading?review meetings
• Developing and conducting training
• Developing manuals

Candidates will have a minimum background consisting of:

• Packaging machine design experience
• Five years of Solidworks experience
• A four year?degree in packaging engineering or?mechanical engineering

Preferred, but not required qualifications includes any of the following:

• Experience with?thermal forming, films, and/or sealing of?films
• Any management experience or interest
