ARCHITECTURAL DRAFTING POSITION

POSITION:
Architectural Drafting Instructor
(Full-time, 9 month benefited tenure track position)
DESCRIPTION:
Primary responsibilities include teaching and evaluating students in Architectural Drafting courses.  Other responsibilities will include preparing lesson plans, curriculum development, utilization of appropriate technology and teaching methods, advising students, professional development, and participating in assigned departmental, divisional and college committees and activities.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Two year degree or diploma in Architectural Drafting or related field
• Minimum of three years relevant industry experience in architectural drafting
• Proficient computer skills
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to function in a team environment
• Flexibility to meet the needs of all students
• Must support mission, vision, and values of NDSCS
• Willingness to secure North Dakota Career and Technical Education certification

QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED:

• Associate degree and/or Bachelor degree in related field
• Revit modeling experience
• AutoCAD or other computer-aided drafting experience
• Commercial and/or residential design experience
• Construction estimating experience
• Commercial and/or residential construction experience
• Green sustainable construction
• Teaching or training experience

SALARY:
Competitive salary based on experience plus full 12 month benefit package.
