Accountant

Flint Group is looking for an experienced Accountant that has a passion for numbers, deadline driven, detail oriented, an effective communicator and is driven with daily challenges.  The Accountant is responsible for the day-to-day assistance of the finance, accounting and operation of the agency.

What you’ll do

• Accurately enter vendor invoices and expense reports to either job related costs or operating expenses with supported documentation
• Process checks
• Assist in month-end processes
• Perform with general bookkeeping duties, including posting information to accounting software and regularly reconciling accounts
• Pay debts as they come due for payment, including necessary bills as well as supplier and vendor invoices
• Obtain necessary tax forms from new vendors
• Perform reconciliations of bank accounts on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy
• Make deposits and record all cash receipts
• Distribute client invoices and ensure that receivables are collected in a timely manner
• Maintain an organized and streamlined accounting system
• Provide administrative support when required

What we need

• Strong computer skills, including Excel and accounting software
• Proven knowledge of full-cycle accounting
• Excellent communication, problem solving and analytical skills
• Financial understanding of month-end processes and billings
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with strong attention to detail
• Proactive mindset with ability to work independently

Where you’ve been

• Accounting or Associates Degree with relevant work experience
• 3-5 years’ experience in a relevant field
• Billing experience a plus
