Public Health Director

The Director is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Health Department. This requires the direct supervision of the nursing staff and administrative assistant as well as oversight of the administrative and fiscal operations of the department. Public Health work in Pembina County involves school health screening, adult home visits, vaccine administration and the coordination of the county tobacco prevention program, among many other programs. The Director is actively involved in day-to-day delivery of services to the citizens of the County.

Preferred applicant will be an RN with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and licensed in the state of ND (or have the ability to obtain licensure) and four years professional nursing experience in public health, health care systems, program administration, or providing health education/training programs.
