Retail Pharmacist

The Retail Pharmacist is responsible for assessing and monitoring patient needs and progress regarding drug therapy, providing education and information to patients, families, staff, physicians, and community, filling and verifying medication orders, and for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and documenting the care of patients, including those in the following age groups: infancy, childhood, adolescent, adult and geriatric. Requirements: Five year college degree in Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. Licensure required by North Dakota Board of Pharmacy. New graduates must have a current Pharmacist Intern license and will obtain a North Dakota license within six (6) weeks from start of employment. An out-of-state Clinical Pharm.D. must have a valid temporary certificate by the state of North Dakota and will obtain a North Dakota license within six (6) weeks from start of employment.
