Job Details
Worthington District 518 Community Education is seeking an Early Childhood (EC) teacher. Preference will be given to individuals who hold or qualify for, a licensure in Pre-Kindergarten Early Childhood Education. Other applicants with a teaching license will be considered. This position will begin mid-year. Employment responsibilities include planning and facilitating educational activities for children ages 3-5, and supervising classroom educational assistants. We offer morning and afternoon sessions.
Our average class size is 16 students with a teacher and a paraprofessional. A high percentage of the students in this program are English Language Learners. The EC teacher will report to the Early Childhood Family Education Coordinator. This is a .90 FTE position.
Minimum yearly salary $44,649
