JOB SUMMARY

The Manager of Business Management is responsible for the financial stewardship, leadership, direction, and coordination of business performance of supply chain. Works extensively with supply chain leaders to align the business strategies of the organization and develop company business model templates. Works with departments and leaders on creating business plans, identifying and controlling input costs, reviewing budgets, and preparing proper tools used to analyze and evaluate organizational effectiveness. Leads in the preparation, coordination and review of new business proposals that include return on investment (ROI) or proformas. Manages the daily operations of the supply chain business management team to ensure timely and accurate processing and performance. Gathers data needed and serves as the main contact for our internal and external clients. Works with supply chain leadership and other leaders to ensure deadlines are met and policies followed. Applies comprehensive, extensive in-depth or broad knowledge, skills and practices and basic knowledge of related/interdependent cross family/function experience to perform a variety of difficult assignments. Ability to grasp new concepts, acquire new ways of seeing things, and revise ways of thinking and behaving, with the understanding that this is an ongoing business necessity. Demonstrates the ability to be a self-starter on projects, employs strong organizational skills when managing projects, and seeks appropriate assistance and clarification as needed. Communicates effectively with others to exchange information, streamline processes, answer questions and resolve issues in a timely manner. Must have a high level of accountability. Must present a professional attitude, attire and demeanor. Must have strong customer service skills. Must have the ability to work in a team. Time management and interpersonal skills are essential. Occasional travel will be expected, as well as flexibility in schedule.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitors compliance with organizational standards for financial report writing. Shares information, knowledge, and experiences openly and proactively. Directs others in interpreting and drawing reliable conclusions from industry financial data. Assesses and validates decision options and points and predicts their potential impact. Promotes the importance of accurate organization-wide financial reporting. Establishes and maintains productive working relationships within and outside of own area. Participates in creating organizational strategy. Shows how own function contributes to results. Delivers written and oral communication, responds to questions and concerns, and produce specific outcomes and impact.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree required, preferably in finance, business or healthcare administration or a related field. Five years' applicable work experience required. Must have knowledge of supply chain practices and procedures. Must have strong computer (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook) and reporting skills. Oral and written communication skills sufficient to interpret and apply policies and procedures for clarification and problem resolution. Must be self-directed, autonomous and yet be able to work well with multiple individuals at all levels on a regular basis. Must demonstrate leadership skills and abilities.
