Summary
FUNCTION:
Optimizer Analyst is responsible for providing leadership, workflow expertise and planning, coordination, implementation and sustainment of IT systems within the healthcare setting. Provides expertise regarding the IT system & the impact on workflow processes in such a way as to gain support & buy-in from staff to successfully implement upgrades and or changes. Position requires expert understanding and knowledge of clinical and non-clinical workflows in a healthcare setting. Responsible for coordinating training of applications and project management as needed. Implements and abides by Customer Service Standards. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Demonstrates Family Centered Care principles with interacting with patients and their families and with co-workers.
EDUCATION:
Degree in a clinical or information systems discipline (i.e. RN, MLS, RHIA) preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Demonstrated management skills including leadership, problem solving, communication, organization, and goal setting required.
