This full time, permanent Custom Food Processing Equipment Estimator opportunity is at an equipment and machine manufacturer that sets the worldwide industry quality standard.?All products are engineered and built solely in the United States. Engineers here creatively designed products to enhance and/or upgrade customer automation systems resulting in higher quality output or lower customer costs. The engineering staff has a reputation for being both highly skilled and innovative in product designs. Projects are highly diverse so the work is always interesting.?

The work is fast-paced and challenging with many varied product lines. Because of the highly custom product line, the successful candidate will need to be a creative thinker. There is the opportunity to grow into a more senior role in the estimating area or even into sales, if that is appealing. There are bonus opportunities with this position. The successful candidate's duties and responsibilities will encompass:

• Learning the product lines as well as the industry
• Determining the best use of production resources
• Estimating costs and staff needs for large projects
• Interacting with the sales department to create bids
• Creating requirements and obtaining estimates for vendor equipment?

Candidates will have a minimum background consisting of:

• An engineering degree
• Ability to think creatively
• AutoCAD and/or?3D CAD experience
• Ability to determine the best use of production equipment
• Ability to understand food industry equipment

Preferred, but not required qualifications includes any of the following:

• Food processing equipment industry experience
• Estimating experience
• Configure Price Quote (CPQ) software experience
• A Bachelors degree
