Lake Region Electric Cooperative (LREC) is a member-owned electric utility located in the lakes country of west-central Minnesota, 45 miles SE of Fargo/Moorhead.
LREC has an opening for a full-time Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Technician. This position is responsible for creating and maintaining maps of LREC's electric distribution system by using GIS and GPS technology. This position serves as a technical resource to ensure accurate system information.
Work requires a minimum of a two-year degree with concentration in GIS technology and/or two years work experience with ARCGIS software. Applicants should have the ability to interpret technical drawings and maps.
