Department: 48370 CHNA
Job Description: This position works with Community Health Program Manager to complete CHNAs, including engaging stakeholders, collecting and analyzing data, prioritizing health issues and documenting results. Manages daily operations and implementation of the programming and health improvement initiatives. Collaborates with community members and stakeholders to increase awareness of and participation of community health interventions and also coordinates or participates in community coalitions as appropriate. Leads or participates in internal work groups to further health improvement initiatives, as appropriate. Responsible for assisting the Community Health Program Manager in grant writing and reporting, developing and maintaining positive relationships with key community partners, and supporting grant writing and reporting as needed.
Work Experience: 1-2 years experience in community health to include engagement, public health, and facilitation of groups.
Education Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in public health, health education, or related field. Masters Degree in Public Health or related field preferred.
