Position Description:
(F/T, Monday-Friday, 6:30am-3:00pm, Weekends as necessary. Hours may vary during spring, summer and winter breaks). Perform all duties necessary to serve food and beverages to customers and assist with maintaining product quality.
Execute all necessary tasks to assure a high degree of cleanliness, quality, and sanitation in food service areas and have a passion for coffee.

Specific duties include but are not limited to:
  • Assist customers with their food and beverage orders
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting, assisting and thanking every customer
  • Solve customer questions and concerns
  • Operate a cash register and card reader
  • Prepare beverages and serve food products
  • Complete prep work
  • Operate and clean equipment
  • Produce quality products
  • Check and record temperatures
  • Assist with training
  • Assist with weekly inventory
  • Ensure safety and sanitation requirements are followed

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of one year experience in a food service operation
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to contribute to a positive and productive team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Food safety certification preferred
  • Six months of experience as a barista preferred

Physical Demands:
Continuously: lift up to 10 pounds, stand, walk, use hands dexterously, reach with hands and arms, see, talk, hear, taste and smell.
Frequently: lift up to 25 pounds.
Occasionally: sit, climb, balance, stoop/kneel/crouch or crawl, lift up to 50 pounds
