The primary responsibility of the Regional VP of the Security Officer Division is to direct and manage all operational activities for the branch offices of the Security Officer Division for Per Mar Security Services. This position is also responsible for sales activities and growth in the Wisconsin/Minnesota region.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Continually develop and maintain successful supportive business relationships with customers in order to ensure retention of current customer base and growth in services provided.Ensure growth of temporary revenue by successfully building business relationships with key customers.Oversee all sales activities to ensure maximum productivity and the development of new business.Assist General Managers with all sales leads, targets, meetings, pricing and proposals when necessary.Effectively handle client issues and concerns.Provide motivation and guidance to the overall management team and each member individually as needed to assure highest levels of performance and standards of professionalism.Maintain and manage overall P&L for the Security Officer Division Branches of Per Mar including but not limited to customer rate increases, oversight and improvement of expenses with a focus on driving profit increases and growing profitability and revenue.Work directly with the Accounting Department in order to develop reports to assist in the monitoring and control of overhead and expenses for the Security Officer Division Branches of Per Mar.Maintain and manage Accounts Receivable for the Security Officer Division.Perform SO Branch audits as necessary, make recommendations, report findings to President, Security Officer Division and correct deficiencies.Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training and development of SO General Managers and Business Development Managers.Partner with the Training Department in order to ensure training requirements are met.Partner with the Human Resources Department in Succession Planning for recommended SO employees.Maintain awareness of potential customer referrals. Approach each issue fair and consistently in order to reduce Per Mar's legal risk.Education And/or ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED is required. Bachelor's Degree from four-year College or technical school highly preferred; or minimum 7-10 years Security Officer Division industry experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.Minimum 5 years supervisory experience required.Experience in management of multi-market locations required.Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skills required. Strong customer service focus/skills a must. Must be detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks.Capable of handling challenging and stressful situations without decreasing productivity.Ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization and with external customers.Possess sufficient clerical skills to perform essential job functions as listed above.Must possess the values important to Per Mar Security - Integrity, Communication, Excellent Service and Accountability. Available to travel, stipulating to a minimum of 50% of work time involving travel to other Branch locations as dictated by business necessity.Must possess the values important to Per Mar Security - Integrity, Communication, Excellent Service, and Accountability.Licenses/CertificationsMust be able to obtain specified license to perform work in the security industry according to the rules and regulations prescribed by the state in which the branch operates. Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record.Equipment/SoftwareAbility to operate a variety of office equipment to include but not limited to personal computers, printers, scanners and calculators.
