Edgewood Healthcare is on the search for a motivated & compassionate individual to become the Assistant Executive Director in our Omaha, NE building. This position will work closely with the Executive Director with leadership, management and overall success of the community; with an emphasis on overseeing activities that support quality Memory Care.

Edgewood Healthcare is on the search for a motivated & compassionate individual to become the Assistant Executive Director in our Omaha, NE building. This position will work closely with the Executive Director with leadership, management and overall success of the community; with an emphasis on overseeing activities that support quality Memory Care.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist Executive Director in implementation of marketing plans to support census & financial targets.
- Oversee Memory Care occupancy and communicate changes to Executive Director timely.
- Primary point of contact for Memory Care residents and their families. Meet with families to ensure needs can be met and new resident information is completed prior to move-in
- In coordination with the Clinical Services Director and Executive Director, ensure that systems are in place for all aspects of resident care, wellness, and life enrichment programs.
- Recruit, develop and retain quality staff.
- Conduct staff meetings, in-service trainings, and new hire orientations
- Coordinate with the building leadership staff on developing and maintaining positive employee and community relationships necessary for providing quality care and maintaining a sound business operation.
- Ensure the building (interior and exterior) is presentable at all times.

Minimum Requirements
A successful candidate possesses the following:
- Professional Nurse (LPN) license preferred.
- Experience within an assisted living or memory care community with significant level of responsibility and accountability for goal achievement, preferred
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Must display genuine interest in seniors and compassion for the aging.
