Description

Edgewood Healthcare is currently seeking an outgoing and motivated individual to be the Director of Outreach and Public Relations at our Grand Forks, ND community.

The key roles/responsibilities of the community’s Director of Outreach and Public Relations include but are not limited to:
  • Plan, organize, direct and execute all community sales efforts and any activities involving prospective residents for Edgewood, including all senior living and health care services product lines.
  • Directly responsible for increasing senior living occupancy and health care services caseload by evaluating prospective residents’ needs and wants, conducting onsite and home visits for prospective residents and their family members, completing effective lead management follow up to ensure conversions, closing sales and securing move-ins.
  • Responsible for conducting consistent outside sales efforts in the primary and secondary markets to develop relationships with referral sources, driving traffic to Edgewood.
  • Assess market areas; participating in the development of an effective sales plan and monitoring local results; developing and maintaining relationships with the community to determine needs and satisfaction
  • Maintain good working relationship with clients, prospects, employees and referral sources.
  • Works directly with the Edgewood Corporate Sales & Marketing team to ensure the execution of effective local marketing campaigns.

Minimum Requirements

A successful candidate must possess:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing, Business or related field of study strongly preferred.
  • Work experience that demonstrates increased level of responsibility, proven sales acumen, exceptional customer service and professional growth.
  • Work experience in sales and/or customer service preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on a team approach
  • Attention to detail and organization
