Job Summary

Serves as a liaison between Sanford and the local community. Responsible for the promotion and visibility of Sanford Health and its programs by building and maintaining strong relationships with community partners and presence through local events and programs within the community. Responsible for the planning, coordination, implementation and execution of multiple types of events/programs within the network community. Provides a positive organizational image to the network community. Actively participates within the community and its health initiative sponsored by Sanford. Interacts with local schools, Chambers of Commerce and community businesses in order to improve Sanford's visibility and presence within the community. May be responsible for a local newsletter and internal communication of Sanford programs and initiatives. Develops communications such as presentations, in order to share with the public, trustees, community organizations, local foundation and media. Partners with marketing to assist with the execution of the local marketing plan. When necessary, serves as a representative on local boards. Must be comfortable with regular face-to-face communication. Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills required. Must be organized. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary. Certain events will require working time on the weekends and evenings.

Department Details

This is a full time position working 64hrs/pp.

Qualifications

Associate degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Area of focus in marketing, public relations, or communications preferred.
Experience in presentation/in group settings preferred.
May require certification/licensure as required by profession. If not certified at the time of hire, the candidate must actively
pursue and satisfactorily complete the required certification within the first year of employment. Valid Driver’s License
required. Must maintain good driving record.
