Job description:

Client is looking for Senior Front End Developers in Bloomington, MN. These positions are responsible for creating complex technology solutions by developing, implementing, and maintaining Internet and Intranet applications within our client's Admin Systems team.

Accountabilities:

• Defines project objectives by analysing user requirements; envisioning system features and functionality.
• Tests and approves page components developed by others. Ensures that components are safe, performant, and brand compliant. Analyzes business requirements to design simple user interfaces. Evaluates and recommends tools and best practices.
• Designs and conducts application tests.
• Troubleshoots development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
• Mentors less senior web developers.
• Trains new and existing employees on best practices, preferred patterns, performance achievement, and new development approaches and methodologies.
• Partners with vendors to ensure appropriate data and system integration for upgrades and implementations.
• Participates within disaster recovery testing; Ensures that disaster recovery plans are updated and maintained.
• Creates standard documents as required by team. Develops and maintains system and architecture documents.
• Participates in code reviews.
• Develops secure web pages, reviews others work for security issues. Participates in security scanning exercises.
• Available for on-call 24/7 support rotation on a periodic basis.

Technical Skills/Experience:

• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to analyse and integrate business and technical requirements
• Sound understanding of core operating systems and platforms
• Experience with Microsoft Office and general desktop tools
• Ability to analyse and integrate business and technical requirements
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Strong understanding and background in REACT.
• Strong understanding of Component Management and reuse.
• Good understanding of core operating systems and platforms
• Strong understanding of full life cycle iterative development; requirements gathering, technical design, development, testing and implementation
• Strong ability to use existing JavaScript platforms. Ability to evaluate and recommend new solutions
• Strong knowledge of delivery on multiple browsers, browser versions, and different platforms, desktop tablet and mobile
• Health care market knowledge and experience in the health care industry

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• 5+ years in developing web sites with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Mastery of Less or Sass. Experience with continuous integration tools such as Maven and Jenkins. Experience with designing and maintaining a robust build pipeline.
• 3+ years' experience using REACT.
