JOB SUMMARY

Process customer service orders and branch location requests for supplies and equipment, inventory receiving and order confirmation. Verify orders before they ship for quality assurance. Receive freight from purchase orders and process the paperwork. Sort orders and properly stock new inventory. Confirm orders with shipment tracking information, and track equipment shipped to customers. May be required to pull orders in the warehouse, organize and clean the warehouse and assist with other warehouse duties as needed.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Strives to complete assignments according to established quality measures. Review orders for completeness according to reporting procedures and forward incomplete orders for further processing. Enters inventory data into a computer and maintains records, reports or files. Documents standards and guidelines for maintaining inventory levels. Demonstrates open, friendly, accepting, and supportive behaviors with team members. Provide assistance or direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers. Utilizes specific approaches and tools for checking and cross-checking outputs. Assists in the development and application of operating procedures and quality control standards. Communicates well downward, upward, and outward. Verify customer and order information for correctness, checking it against previously obtained information as necessary. Takes personal ownership of and strives to meet assigned accountability expectations.

DEPARTMENT DETAILS

The hours for this position are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalency required, with at least two years of warehouse/distribution experience preferred. A working knowledge of warehouse terminology, computers, vendor software and record keeping processes a plus.
