Sr Payroll Specialist

Sr. Payroll Specialist with a knack for numbers, a talent for taxes, and savvy with customer service needed to complete our HR team!The Sr. Payroll Specialist will manage the prompt and accurate weekly payment of wages to salaried and hourly staff utilizing UltiPro Payroll software. Address payroll tax issues, wage garnishment responses, and other payroll projects. Be the subject matter expert for all things Payroll.Who are you? A fully computer literate individual, well versed in advanced payroll practices with a high attention to detail. You enjoy people, teamwork, and working independently. Taxes are a challenge you enjoy, along with proper application of deductions and garnishments.What does this job look like daily? Partnering with managers to approve time off and time cardsUpload time and attendance and timecard data into pay cycleProcess weekly payroll changes such as bonuses, commissions, fee, fringe benefits, retro payAdminister deductions such as garnishments, child support, levies, benefits, 401k, etcAudit and verify accuracy of payrollMaintain and implement different pay rates and pay schedules, when necessaryUpdate software program for tax changes, address changes, and direct deposit information, as neededReport data to accounting operationsMaintain payroll documents for auditing needs.Assist employees with payroll questionsPartner with HR team on policy, practices, process improvement, ideas, etc.Knowledge And Skills To Be SuccessfulPost-secondary educationMulti-state payroll experience5-10 years of experience processing in-house payrollAble to adapt and change quickly to different prioritiesUltiPro experience a plus!!Why work for us?
