Float R.N. (ICU/PCU/Ortho/Neuro/General Surgery) Must be able to float to 3 areas (possible areas listed below along with their descriptions).***To be considered, please fill out the required pre-screen form*** ***Candidate must have completed at least 1 travel assignment ***SHIFT: Day/Night rotation, working every other weekend and holiday (36 guaranteed hrs)(typically there is no call)(shift to be discussed in interview)ICU: 15 Bed unit-N/P ratio 1:1 or 1:2 days and nights -RN??????s monitor and read rhythms-Day charge does not take patients, night charge takes light patient load if census below 6-Experience dealing with cardiologist and CT surgeons, must be a team player- Medical/Surgical ICU: care for all types of patients excluding transplant.- avg. length of stay is 1-2 days, high patient turnover PCU: 32 bed unit-N/P ratio 1:3 days and 1:4-5 nights-Day charge does not take patients, night charge takes light patient load Ortho: 30 bed unit-N/P ratio 1:4 days and 1:5-6 nights Neuro/General Surgery: 21 bed unit-N/P ratio: 1:4 days and 1:5-6 nights.
