Summary Our client provides quality electrical design, construction, and maintenance services. Our management staff and service technicians are highly trained, skilled professionals with extensive on-site experience to ensure that we can successfully complete any project and overcome any challenge. They perform $70M of commercial electrical and low voltage systems design and installations. Our client is a seeking an Assistant Project Manager - Electrical. The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager(s) in coordinating the activities of all projects. Under the direction of the Project Manager, the Assistant Project Manager is expected to take on any/all tasks related to construction projects and will be assisting with quantity take-offs, submittals, material procurement, and scheduling. Responsibilities: Responsible for assisting in the management of projects from start-up to closeout under the direction of a Project Manager. Work with supervisors, trade contractors and suppliers regarding assigned schedules, project progress, inventory and material deliveries to ensure attainment of project objectives, schedule completion and timely deliveries. Analyze blueprints/specifications, review proposals/project requirements. Assist in change order preparation. Review/prepare shop drawings/submittals. Coordinate material procurement, ensure compliance with corporate policies and federal/state laws, provide status updates and maintain documentation records. Qualifications Successful candidate posses: 2+ years of Assistant Project Management experience in the electrical contracting field.
