Registered Nurse
Shattuck-St. Mary's School, an independent college preparatory boarding/day school (grades 6-postgraduate) in Faribault, Minnesota is seeking a registered nurse to help care for our remarkable students. This is a full time position that reports to the Director of Nursing. It includes on-call rotation (one night a week and one weekend a month) during the SSM school year and an excellent benefits package.
Required QualificationsMinnesota License as Registered NurseCurrent CPR and First Aid certificationResides within a 15 minute drive of SSM campus
Desirable QualificationsExperience working with children and adolescentsExperience with day to day tasks of a medical office or departmentExcellent communication skills (ability to work collaboratively with medical providers, faculty, students, and parents)Must be flexible, have ability to adapt to ever changing situationsKind, caring, generous and patient personalityKnowledge of immunization requirementsPunctual and able to prioritize tasks appropriatelyCertified or willing to become certified as a first aid/CPR/AED instructorCreative and innovativeExcellent assessment and problem solving skills
