Purpose:
The Maintenance Engineer will play a crucial role at the Sioux Falls site. You will be responsible for several key initiatives. One will be to evaluate existing processes and implement manufacturing systems to improve overall productivity. Another area of focus will be to manage all major capital improvement projects. You will ensure safety and quality are embedded in each of these tasks by following best practices to assure reliable, repeatable outputs.
Responsibilities: Manage the plant's maintenance department. Develop and implement the plant's engineering preventative maintenance program. Evaluate plant to ensure safe and efficient operations. Implement capital plan and project justifications, entry and tracking. Support plant personnel, contractors and engineering in managing capital projects to drive cost reductions. Identify and troubleshoot infrastructure system issues/inefficiencies and provide problem/improvement resolution. Develop metrics and reporting related to preventative maintenance and utility usage.
Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, BSME, BSCE, BSEE, BSIE5-7 years of experience preferred.Experience with autocad preferred. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet timelines. Leadership qualities to facilitate teamwork and ddrive results with all levels of othe organization. Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
