Department: 47884 Facility Plng & Architect
Job Description: Leads, directs, and manages the functions of Facilities Project Services. Responsibilities include insuring the efficient delivery of operational programs and services to proponents, project management, human resources management, facility planning, space allocation, construction and remodeling to each responsibility area to meet strategic goals, compliance and financial requirements. The manager will also be required to assign responsibilities to facilities project managers, monitor and report project schedules and budgets to Facilities Director and to ensure projects are delivered and executed efficiently. Assists with defining project strategies which are consistent with Essentia strategy, policies and procedures, mission, vision and goals. Will also ensure that process excellence strategies are incorporated into project management methodologies including LEAN processes.
Work Experience:
5 years of experience to include progressive responsibilities in project management, process improvement, and engineering. Also to include supervisory experience.
Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local codes and standards. Knowledge and experience with regulatory and accreditation agencies
Education Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Organizational Management, Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent field of study.
Licensure/CertificationQualifications:
Certified Associated in Project Management (CAPM), Project Management Professional (PMP), and/or Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager (CHFM) certifications are required or required to achieve within 1 year of hire date.
